About Your Host

Meredith Newlin, a mom of two in her 16th year teaching, is the author of Captured Fireflies: Truths, Mistakes, And Other Gifts of Being an English Teacher and creator of the Transformed Teacher Podcast. She regularly presents at The Teacher Self-Care Conference and the Educators 2 Educators Reboot Conferences. More recently, Meredith has become a consultant with the Center For Teacher Effectiveness and is a Mental Health Changemakers Fellow with ASSET Education. A native of NC who currently resides in Colorado, Meredith loves cooking, reading, hiking, gardening, and being with family and friends.
